Riddle Cemetery (No. 1) is one of two Titus County cemeteries named Riddle after the family that started it as a family cemetery. It is located in northwest Mt. Pleasant in dense woods about 200 yards north of what is commonly referred to as the Old Paris Road. Supposedly the cemetery contains are five graves, but only three monuments remain (if there were ever more). It was once fenced but no the old barbed wire fence has deterioated and the cemetery is no longer fenced. The environment is wreaking havoc with the monuments. One is toppled, broken, and slowly being buried. Surrounding vegetation is rapidly overtaking the area.
